Hey everyone, a few days earlier I plugged in my Phone charger right into my van and it began charging my phone for about 5 seconds. After that it started smoking and now the radio will certainly not revolve on. I have the right to not beat Cd"s or cassette tapes either. It wont even let me use an assistant cord to connect to mine phone because that music. I"m presume its a puffy fuse yet I am not sure around that. I uncovered the fuse crate in the engine but Ive looked ~ above the internet and every website says that the fuse box doesn"t have anything to carry out with the electronics on the inside of the vehicle but they don"t say to be the other fuse box would be. I have actually researched more and website say over there is one more one however they don"t say where. If you males no whereby it is could you you re welcome let me recognize so i can obtain my radio fixed.

Its not a fuse, that is a accessory relay i beg your pardon is located in the fuse crate up front that powers the 12 volt outlets and the radio..

I have a 2007 Dodge grand caravan. The radio , whatever is working . All the speakers just stopped working. I"d check the fuses , however where space they !?!?!?

I have SOLVED THE SHORTING OUT difficulty OF THE RADIO SHORTING OUT, FLASHING, RESETTING, OR simply PLAIN no WORKING!!! that is in the radio, behind the buttons. After 6 months of listening fools tell me come connect and also disconnect, readjust fuses, etc, and also pulling my hair, i ultimately removed the radio. Using a star set of chauffeurs i gotten rid of the front dashboard of the radio, and then the eco-friendly board ~ above the back of the panel, looking for dirt or poor connections. I uncovered two flat, square, gold contact points ~ above the green panel. There to be tow very thin steel contacts on the switch board that synchronized to these contact points. I noticed the steel was bent an extremely far down, therefore i an extremely gently placed a tiny screwdriver behind the contacts and also gently bent them forward, whereby they would make a better contact through the little squares. Ns screwed the radio back together, re-installed it, and BAM. Worked like a champ. Lights, buttons, switches, the works. I"m going to walk take a journey now and listen to my radio -- on every the stations.
