You are watching: 2006 ford ranger 3.0 firing order
So follow to my Haynes hands-on the engine cylinder numbers go 123 native front the the engine compartment back on the passenger side, and also 456 on the driver side. The hands-on says the cylinders correspond through the coil load 123 indigenous front to back on the passenger side, and also 564 ~ above the driver. But my truck has always been hooked up with 123 ~ above the driver side and 465 top top the other side rather of 564. Has actually anyone else viewed anything favor this? ns tried connecting mine wires the method the hand-operated says however the van wouldnt also run. Hand-operated my enginecoil engine coil engine34 36 53 \"26 25 62 \"15 14 41 \" FRONT
the diagram i tried to make didnt come out well. Imagine those numbers together 3 columns, every column made up of 3 set of 2 numbers. The first column is the diagram of the coil in my manual, the 2nd column is the engine cylinder order, and also the last shaft is the way my coil pack is collection up
Thanks! ns hooked up my truck in this fashion and it finally removed my misfire. Why would the haynes manual present the wires collection up together if the coil was turned 180 degrees around? has anyone else noticed this discrepancy?
On older trucks the coil is turned around 180 degrees, the snapshot in the hands-on is because that older trucks. BTW if friend clean turn off the coil they are marked.
I was just going come ask this question, however decided come look first. Thanks a many N20-3.0 for the pic. That is a life saver. I had my wires walking 456 top top the coil. Currently I know I have to switch the two. The pic will aid me put my vacuum hose and also heater hoses in, together there were as soon as built.^bump
