I tried to buy Comforter https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-2616122/the-big-one-down-alternative-solid-reversible-comforter.jsp?src=lw9MynSeamY&utm_campaign=453501&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=lw9MynSeamY&utm_content=1&utm_term=10&siteID=lw9MynSeamY-yLKlH8h2Zv0Ru0MWYTGqhw

I read this for referral http://www.sleeptrain.com/mattress-size-chart/education-mattress-size-chart.html

the dorm mattres is Twin XL : 80 (length) X 38 (width)

kohls offer 2 size of Comforter:

Twin: 86'' (length) x 62''(width) Full / queen: 86'' x 86''

I have purchased full/queen dimension of comforter, however I to be not certain the elevation of the mattress, and I issue the comforter could touch the ground.

You are watching: Full size comforter on twin xl bed

based on your experience, have to I choose twin?

Many thanks!

It doesn't fit, you need Twin xl. Look other places

You only "need" a pair XL if you have a very strict definition of "fit". As lengthy as the comforter is huge enough to cover you and doesn't traction on the floor, ns think that'd be sufficient for most people.

"Fit" in what sense? It'll most most likely be more comprehensive than you want on the political parties and much shorter at the feet. If girlfriend aren't collection on Kohl's, I understand target sells twin xl

If it doesn't friend could always just tuck the in. Ns don't think it'd touch the floor anyways, you might have the ability to lower+raise your bed if you want depending on your college

It's gonna be more comprehensive and longer yet it won't be the finish of the world. Tuck the overfill under the the mattress in ~ the bottom if that'll work.

It will certainly be bigger 보다 your bed in every senses but it will certainly work. I'm being lazy this year and also not buying a pair xl comforter due to the fact that I shed my comforter and just using my complete size one.

Twin XL are 39" x 80" and Full/Queen are 54" x 75" so it will certainly be extra huge sideways and may not fully cover size on the bed and tucking the in or using the mattress straps will save it secure but if you simply want it come cover your bed it's fine but if you desire a perfect right you may want a pair xl

I got a complete comforter because that my pair xl bed and it to the right fine. I maintained my bed kind of tall for storage under so that was an excellent for spanning that up. As long as you acquire twin xl sheets you have to be fine.
